Walmart's decision to stop selling e-cigarettes, electronic nicotine in the US

Washington, Ta. September 21, 2019, Saturday

Walmart has decided to stop selling its products in its US-based store to produce e-cigarettes and electronic nicotine.

Walmart, a US retailer, has decided to stop selling all items needed to manufacture e-cigarettes and electronic nicotine in all its US-based stores.

Walmart attributed the complex policies of federal, state and local regulatory bodies to the decision. However, he also clarified that all the goods he holds will be fully cooperated after the sale.

Last week, the Trump government expressed concern over the sweet-flavored e-cigarettes making millions of young children into nicotine bonds and decided to stop selling various flavored e-cigarettes found in stores across the country.

On the one hand, as physicians are examining the risk of lung disease and death due to e-cigarettes and other substances, President Donald Trump and other senior officials have also expressed concern over the increasing prevalence of e-cigarettes in teens.

Last May, Walmart said it would stop selling fruit flavored e-cigarettes and increased the age limit for buying tobacco products to 21 years. Walmart had to make the announcement after US Food and Drug officials claimed that the company was illegally selling tobacco products to minors.
