Venu Madhav, a renowned comedian of South films, died at the age of 39, starring in over 200 films.

Telugu comedian Venu Madhu has died at the age of 39. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. He had liver and kidney disease and was taken to hospital on Tuesday if his condition worsened.

Telugu Desam Party chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu tweeted and lamented his death. Information related to his funeral has not been contested so far.

According to the doctor, Venu breathed his last at 12:20 pm on Wednesday. The news of the accidental demise of Venu Madhav has shocked all over Tollywood. Venu's fans are paying tribute to him on social media.

Venu Madhav started his career as a mimicry artist. He later set foot in films as a comedian. He made an entry in the Telugu film industry from the film cult. The film was released in 1996. Later he acted in almost 200 films in Tamil and Telugu.

His last film was Dr. Paranamanaiya Student (shot in 2016). The movie has not been released yet. In the last few years, Venu Madhav has also shown interest in politics. He also campaigned for the Telugu Desam Party.

Venu Madhav was born in Kodad, Nalgonda district in Andhra Pradesh. He is currently living in Suryapet district of Telangana.
