The relations between India and Russia are at the foundation of trust: PM Modi

Moscow, Ta. September 5, 2019, Thursday

PM Narendra Modi, who was the special guest at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, said that India's relations with Russia are based on a foundation of trust. India wants to run alongside Russia. In the coming days we will work together in space.

PM Modi said that the relationship between India and the countries of the East is centuries old but not today. India is the first country to open its own consulate in Vladivostok. Vladivostok was open to India, even when Soviet Russia banned other countries.

He said that in India too, we are working with Sab Ka, the mantra of subka development. We are aiming to make India a $ 5 trillion economy by 2024.

Modi had announced that India would provide a billion dollar loan to Eastern countries adjacent to Russia for the development of the Far East.
