The 2021 census in the country will be from mobile app: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that a single card will be brought for Aadhaar card, election card, bank account, driving license etc. At the same time, digital equipment will be used more for the census of the country in 2021 and a special mobile app will also be launched for this. The government had brought Aadhaar card for all the cards, but now the government is preparing to bring one more card to cover the card with Aadhaar.

Amit Shah said that the census contributes a great deal in determining the future of the country and in developing it. This is the 16th census from 1865 to the present. The mobile app will be used in the 2021 census.

This will result in digitization of the population digitally. The more efficient the census, the stronger the country's economy. The government is estimated to spend around Rs 12,000 crore on this time census process.

The Union Home Minister said that the census data of the country has been the basis of all the schemes brought by the government. 16 languages ​​will be used to complete the census of this time, so that people can give their family and their information properly.

With the digital census, every card including Aadhaar, PAN card, bank card etc. will come to a standstill, the government is set to bring a single card for all these cards. However, it is currently under consideration.

Talking about launching a single card for all the features, Amit Shah said, "Why not think in the same direction that Aadhaar, passport, bank account, driving license, election card can be used for each one?" The government is considering the convenience of collecting all the data in one card. For which a special card can be launched. This is so important and that is why digital census is so important.
