Pakistan worried about Muslims in custody before leaving Kashmir: US

New delhi date. September 27, 2019, Friday

The United States has advised Pakistan, which is spreading rumors of human rights violations in Kashmir, that Pakistan should first be concerned about Muslims in illegal custody in China. Alice G. Wells, the US South and Central Asia affairs minister, said Muslims in China are in a bad position. They are being kept in detention camps, but Pakistan has not expressed any concern.

He said that Pakistan should be more concerned in this regard as there is greater human rights violation. In the United Nations General Assembly, China accuses Muslims of the horrific torture of concentration camps. He said, "The situation of Muslims is the worst in China as a whole." They are forcibly kept in torture camps. They are not being given religious freedom. We will continue to raise this issue again and again in the future.

It is noteworthy that the history of the conflict between China and the local Uighur or Weiger tribes in Xinjiang in the western province of China is very old. Over the years, the economy has been concentrated in agriculture and trade. In the early twentieth century, the Uighurs declared themselves free for a short time. In 1949, the area was completely controlled by Communist China. Like Tibet, Xinjiang is an officially autonomous region.

Islamic countries are silent for these Chinese Muslims because they do not want to be bad in the eyes of China. While the economy of a country like Pakistan is being run by China. Other than this, other Islamic countries have business ties with China. If these countries say anything in favor of these Chinese Muslims, it may be that China will turn against it and stop the aid it is providing. These countries are calling the issue an internal issue of China.
