Hamza bin Lad, son of al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, has also been killed in an anti-terror campaign by American forces along Afghanistan and Pakistan, and US President Donald Trump confirmed this on Saturday. About a month after Trump confirmed Hamza's death.

American media in August published reports that Osama's son Hamza was killed in an anti-terror campaign by citing American intelligence agency officials.

Trump said in a statement that al-Qaeda's high-ranking terrorist and son of Osama bin Laden, Hamza bin Laden, were killed by American forces in an anti-terror campaign along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

However, the American president has not clarified the circumstances and where Hamza was killed. Trump said that the death of Hamza bin Laden would not only reduce the importance of al-Qaeda in the region but also halt the group's important terrorist activities. Hamza had a symbolic connection to his father in al-Qaeda.

Trump added that Hamza was involved in plotting several terrorist attacks along different terrorist groups along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Hamza's last public statement was announced by al-Qaeda's media wing in 2018. In this message, he threatened Saudi Arabia and provoked the people of the Arabian Peninsula to rebel.

Saudi Arabia revoked its citizenship in March this year. According to a New York Times report, Hamza was not more than 30 years old and died in late August or early August. At that time, Trump refused to confirm reports of Hamza's death.

In response to a question on whether America had a role in Hamza's death, Trump said at the White House on August 1 that he could not comment on Hamza's death. But it was too dangerous for America. He has made inappropriate statements against America many times.

Hamza bin Laden's father Osama bin Laden was killed in 2011 by the US Navy Seal in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Earlier this year, the US State Department described Hamza as an "emerging" terrorist in al-Qaeda and announced millions of dollars' compensation to his informant.
