Odisha truck driver fined a record break of Rs 6.5 lakh

With the introduction of the new motor vehicle law, many incidents of heavy penalties are coming against vehicles. But one case of Sambalpur in Odisha is very shocking. A Nagaland truck owner has been fined Rs 6,53,100 under the old law for breaking traffic rules and this amount can be called a record.

Nagaland truck owner was fined Rs 6,53,100 for violating traffic rules in Odisha's Sambalpur on August 10. This amount can be said to be similar to the record in comparison to the current incidents of heavy currency cutting.

Surprisingly, this currency was cut on the 10th of August according to the old rules. While the new motor vehicle: The law has come into force from September 1st. The owner of the truck, Shailesh Gupta, has not paid the road tax for the last five years, so the tax amount has been reduced to 6,40,500. The currency was deducted under the Odisha Motor Vehicle Taxation Act. In addition, the RTO also fined for not having the required documents.

The truck owner was fined 100 rupees under General Offense, Rs 1,000 for violating air and noise pollution targets, Rs 5,000 for installing passengers in freight, Rs 5,000 for driving without a permit and Rs 1,000 for insurance.

Earlier, Haryana's truck owner had to pay a maximum fine of Rs 500,000 for violating traffic rules in Delhi. Five days before that incident, a truck driver from Rajasthan also paid Rs 1,47,700 in Rohini Court.

On September 10, a truck driver was fined Rs 86,500 in Odisha alone. However, the penalty amount was determined to be 70,000 after the truck driver submitted the required documents.
