NASA also sends 'Hello' message to contact 'Vikram'

New Delhi, September 12, 2019, Thursday

Scientists in ISRO are working hard to reconnect with a lander, who lost contact at the time of landing on the Moon.

Now NASA has also come to the aid of the American Space Agency. NASA has sent a hello message from Earth as part of an attempt to contact the lander.

According to a NASA source, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has sent a radio frequency to contact the lander. For this he had consented after having first communicated with Esro.

Another astronaut, Scott Tilley, also confirmed that the radio frequency had been sent from a California-based NASA station.

Efforts are being made to contact ISRO, but as the days pass, the possibilities for contact with Vikram are becoming blurred.

Yesterday, ISRO revealed that the record lost contact at a height of only 335 meters from the earth's surface at the time of landing.
