Mumbai court notice to Rahul and Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi / Mumbai Dated 19th September 2019 Thursday

A notice was sent by a Mumbai court against the Congress party's acting president Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi for allegedly speaking inappropriately about Veer Savarkar.

The parents described Veer Savarkar as a "traitor." Ranjit Savarkar, grandson of Veer Savarkar, filed a complaint against the duo in Bhiwada court and the court ordered an investigation.

It was alleged in the charge sheet that my grandfather Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was accused of treason by his parents more than once. The parents tweeted a traitor to my grandfather on social media on the 5th, 22nd and 23rd of March 2016.

The indictment also stated that these people had falsely accused my grandfather that my grandfather had begged mercy from the British Government when his grandfather was buried in the Andaman-Nicobar egg cell. This allegation was made out of negligence and misconduct. History testifies that my grandfather did not beg for mercy.
