Jonson-Juncker talks failed: No deal divers likely

Luxembourg, Ta. September 16, 2019, Monday

The talks with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson did not make any proposal that Britain could be implemented to exit the European Union without any kind of success, the European Union said today.

The union said the meeting between Johnson and European Commission President Jean-Claude was concluded without any conclusions. No alternative to the Northern Ireland border was presented in the talks.

The British leader rejected the statement. Although Johnson had already announced Britain's exit from the economic bloc on October 31, the British Parliament had previously ordered Parliament not to proceed without an agreement with Brussels.

Opponents and traders of Brexit say Britain leaving the European Union without any kind of agreement will be severely damaged and financially volatile, as Britain will cut open trade ties with the European Union 46 years later. Had lunch with Junker.

Downingstreet's visit to Luxembourg was part of an attempt to depart in time before the European Union's meeting of 17 October. He insisted that the meeting was positive and that both sides were ready to hold daily meetings between the negotiators.
