IndiGo plane landing in Varanasi: 144 passengers rescued

Varanasi, Ta. September 8, 2019, Sunday

An IndiGo plane heading from Gorakhpur to Uttar Pradesh from Hyderabad was forced to land at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, causing technical malfunction in the air. On Sunday, IndiGo's flight 1E4 departed from Hyderabad with 5 passengers leaving for Gorakhpur.

Meanwhile the airplane had a fault in the engine. The pilot had requested the aircraft for emergency landing at Varanasi Airport. After being found very cautious, the aircraft landed at the airport. Attempts were made to repair the aircraft in the afternoon. However, all the passengers were deported to Gorakhpur by bus.

It is noteworthy that there was a flaw in the bird landing with a flight from IndiGo from Delhi to Ranchi earlier and this is where compulsory landing was done. IndiGo's flight departed from Hyderabad at 8am this morning. As soon as the plane reached Ghazipur, a technical malfunction was created which, upon being informed of the pilot, was allowed to land in Varanasi.

The plane landed at Varanasi at 8am in the morning. All passengers breathed a sigh of relief as the safe landing took place. All the passengers were then deported to Gorakhpur by bus.
