Indigenous fighter jets fly into Tejas Rajnath Singh

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh made a flight this morning in Tejas, an Indian Air Force fighter.

This is the first time that any defense minister has ever flown in Tejas.

Tejas joined the Air Force three years ago. The fighter has the ability to pierce a target 25 to 30 kilometers away.

Rajnath Singh started flying at ten in the morning. They were in the plane for half an hour. He later met the employees of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.

An upgraded version of Tejas is also coming. The aircraft is a lightweight fighter aircraft developed by Hindustan Aeronautics itself. It is a completely autonomous aircraft.

Hindustan Aeronautics will get Rs 45,000 crore for 83 upgraded planes.
