Trump accidentally attended to hear Modi at the summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the inauguration ceremony of the UN Climate Action Summit. Modi said in his speech that the time to talk about action is over.

The whole world needs to take firm action now. The Prime Minister also echoed the central government's environmental policy in the speech.

Attending the UN Climate Action Summit, Modi informed about various government action plans. Modi said that India has launched a life-saving mission and through it water conservation campaign is respected across the country. In the coming years, the Government of India will spend $ 50 billion, or about Rs 3500 billion, on the reservoir.

Regarding solar energy, the Prime Minister also said that there is plenty of sunlight in India. That is why in the coming years, the government is working in that direction to produce as much solar energy as possible. India's renewable energy capacity is planned to be 175 GW by 2022 and is expected to reach 450 GW in the future.

The Prime Minister said that we are promoting e-mobility in transport. India is actively involved in mixing biofuels with petrol-diesel. The connection of cooking gas has been given to 11.5 crore households in India. This has led to a change in traditional cuisine and reduced carbon emissions.

Modi said that it is part of India's tradition of living in harmony with nature. Indians have respected nature for centuries. Going the same direction, India expresses its determination to fight climate change.

The Government of India has taken a unique initiative on Independence Day by campaigning against single use plastic. Consumption of single-use plastics in India has declined and the government has taken concrete steps for this. Modi said at the end of the speech that the time to talk is now over. Now everyone has to work together.

Modi announced that a solar panel made by India would be installed on the roof of a UN building. Trump was not to be present at the opening ceremony of the summit. He was not included in this session because of his other programs, but at the last moment, Trump's accidental presence at the inauguration ceremony became significant.
