In Jharkhand, a girl was raped and murdered

A special Poxo court in Giridih was sentenced to death for raping and raping a four-year-old girl and sentencing her father to a birthday.

Rambabu Gupta's court on Saturday sentenced 27-year-old Ramchandra Thakur to life imprisonment and his father to life imprisonment under various sections of IPC. The court heard the verdict through a video conference. Paxo's law recently amended the death sentence for rape victims under the age of 12.

During the investigation, police found that Thakur, a resident of Parasan village, raped the girl on March 26 last year and killed her throat and subsequently buried her in the ground. Thakur, a neighbor of the victim, brutally killed the girl and took her to the field, police said. The court sentenced his father to life imprisonment for helping him in the work.
