Hearing on Ayodhya issue to be completed by October 18: Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi

Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said, "We hope to hear the hearing on the controversial Ayodhya issue in the next few months."

The Supreme Court has been hearing the Ayodhya issue for the past 26 days. Recently, the two parties once again filed a petition before the mediation committee seeking a settlement outside the court.

The Chief Justice said that we expect the hearing to be completed within one month. Then we will have more mass once we get judgment. For this, both parties will have to wait.

At present, the Constitutional Bench, headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, is holding a hearing on the Ayodhya issue.
