Haryana charges 52 lakh for violating traffic rules

Under the new traffic law, which came into force from September 1, Haryana police had so far recovered Rs 52 lakh from 343 people who violated the traffic rules and Rs 88 lakh was recovered in Orissa in just four days.

In different cities of the country, educated people also drive vehicles in such a way that the traffic is blocked. Some don't have a license, so some two-wheeler drivers do not wear helmets. Some people talk loudly on mobile while driving a car, some don't wear seat belts while driving. Some have fallen into the wrong habit of breaking the signal.

Many such minor offenses are now subject to punishment.

The new law also gives the police the right to collect fines at the scene of the incident. In the capital alone, on the first of September, 39,000 criminals were arrested in a single day and everyone was fined there.
