Food prices are skyrocketing in Pakistan, which is facing a financial crisis, and the government has to intervene to control it.

Investigations have been launched against the news that 46 international flights from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have been left without passengers. In addition, the Audit Report reports that 36 flights to Hajj pilgrims were left vacant in the Islamic region.

The PIA did not find any passengers to travel to the holy Mecca Medina, however, the planes were evacuated. Pakistani International Airlines is operated out of government funds and according to audit report only 46 flights flew without passengers during 2016 to 2017. While the investigations for the following years are ongoing.
