British pak with 38kg of 25kg of heroin. The couple arrested in Sialkot

A British couple of Pakistani origin who tried to smuggle out 25 kilograms of heroin worth Rs 38 crore were arrested at Silakot today. Mohammed Tahir Ayaz, 26, of Yorkshire, and his 20-year-old wife, Ikra Hussein, have been sentenced to death in Dubai on charges of trafficking heroin in Britain.

He was stopped by the airport security force for checking and 25kg of heroin was recovered from his belongings. The heroin, hidden in women's clothing, appeared in the scan process. The seized heroin is valued at Rs 38 crore in the international market.

He was caught while he was about to board an Emirates Airlines plane and was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force for further investigation. Pakistan has several strict laws, including the execution of drug smugglers. Some are also sentenced to life imprisonment.
