In a recent Lok Sabha election, a summons of the court was sent to SPA's head MP, Azam Khan, in a scandalous case about actress politician Jaya Prada. The court urged her to appear on September 11 to answer her.
Azam Khan, the MP from the Rampur seat in Uttar Pradesh, filed a bail plea in advance to stop his arrest, which was rejected by the court. The court summons was adjourned outside Azam Khan's bungalow on Thursday. Azam Khan made a vulgar comment about the under-garment of Jaya Prada. This is the case in which Azam Khan has to go to jail if the crime proves.
For the past few years, a number of new cases have been filed against Azam Khan.
