Arif Mohammed Khan, a minister in Rajiv Gandhi's government, has been made the Governor of Kerala.
Arif Mohammed Khan supported the government on three issues. President Kovind has approved the appointment and replacement of five governors, including Arif Mohammed Khan.
Accordingly, senior BJP leader and former CM of Uttarakhand Bhagat Singh Koshari has been made governor of Maharashtra. Himachal Pradesh Governor to BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya
Tamil Nadu BJP leader Dr Tamilisai Sundararajan has been appointed as Governor of Telangana.
On the other hand, Kalraj Mishra has been transferred from Himachal Pradesh to the Governor of Rajasthan.
