New delhi date. Wednesday 21st August 2019

In the capital city of New Delhi today, the situation became quite severe. The report received on Wednesday morning, August 21 morning, had crossed the Danger level of the Muj Yamuna river, and at any given moment, it was possible for the Yamuna to retreat.

Millions of cusecs of water left over from Hathinikund increased the Yamuna's floodwaters and crossed the Yamuna Danger level. All the low lying areas of Delhi have been submerged and water is likely to return to other areas today. All administrative areas had been evacuated prematurely by the Delhi administration.

The Danger Level of Yamuna in Delhi is 5.3.33 m. At the time of this writing, Yamuna was flowing more than 206 meters high. The 25,590 cusecs of water released from Hathinikund in Haryana had increased the Yamuna water supply. Don't be surprised if the Yamuna gets 207 meters by this afternoon.
