The body of senior country leader and former finance minister Arun Jaitley was taken to a gun carriage for the funeral.

In our country, there is a rule to carry the earthly body of the Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and the President into a gun carriage. Arun Jaitley has taken over as defense minister during the first tenure of Modi government.

So his body was kept in a gun carriage before the funeral on Sunday following his death on Saturday. At around 10:58 pm, Arun Jaitley's body was taken to the BJP headquarters in a flower decorated gun carriage.

Senior leaders of the party, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, paid tribute to the earthly body of Jaitley in a red box.
