Veer Savarkar's statue was worn by the student leaders of the Congress

Congress's disdain for Veer Savarkar has been revealed once again.

Congress student wing NSUI wore a shoelace on Savarkar's statue on Wednesday, just before the Student Election held at Delhi University.

Security personnel at Delhi University did not succeed in stopping NSUI workers. NSUI leaders then chanted Bhagat Singh Zindabad's slogan. The video has also gone viral on social media.

ABVP is alleged to have installed the statue of Veer Savarkar, Subhash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh at the gate of the Arts Faculty without permission.
