The Election Commission wrote to the Law Ministry, attach the Aadhar card to the voter card

The Election Commission wrote a letter to the law department of the Center, suggesting that the Aadhaar card be given to the Commission with the right to attach a voter card. By doing so, the bogus voter card can be easily grabbed.

Thus, the Election Commission had earlier recommended the Central Government on this issue, but at that time, the issue of Aadhaar card was in the Supreme Court, so neither the Central Government nor the Election Commission was in a position to take action on the issue.
