The census process will begin from April 2020

Census will be rolled out across the country next year and for the first time in 3-year history, census data will be collected using the mobile app. Ten years later, the census data will be released on 7th and work will be started from April 1st.

This time around 1 lakh workers will be stopped for census and government employees will go from house to house to get people's economic, social and religious data. The counting will be conducted in all the states of the country except Assam during the census process as work is already underway to update the census register in Assam. At three levels the census process will be undertaken.

In the first phase, ie from April 1 to September 7 next year, employees of the Central and State Government will go from house to house collecting data.

The second phase of the census will be completed from 9th to 9th February and research process will be conducted from March 1 to 5. When homeless people will be counted on the night of February 7th. The National Population Register was created for the first time in 5 years and it was declared in 7th.

For the first time, census data will be collected using the mobile app. The person who counts will often come home and answer the questions on the portal or not, and the person who cannot provide the details himself will enter his details using the mobile app or download the paper.

In the first phase, three questions related to registration of house and counting of houses will be asked. In the second phase, three questions related to the family will be asked. Statistics relating to the caste of the people will not be compiled but they will be asked only questions related to SC-ST.

People will be asked what religion they believe in and what comes from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, etc. This time it has been written 'Third Gender' by removing the 'Other' from the Gender column so that the exact number of the sheets is known. Blizzard-affected Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will be counted from September 9 to 8 and revision rounds will be held from October 1 to 5.

These questions will be asked during the census

During the census, information about home TV, fridge, telephone, gas cylinder, car, motor cycle will be obtained. The financial status of all households will also be recorded. In addition, the following questions have to be answered.

- What is the mobile number of each household member?

- How many members of the household use the Internet?

- How many members of the household have accounts in the bank?

- How many members of the household have a PAN card?

- Does the house have a toilet or not?

- What tool do you use to cook meals at home?
