Primary schools start today for the first time in 14 days after 14 days in Kashmir

Srinagar, Ta. Monday 19th August 2019

After the fourteenth day of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was canceled on August 5, the primary schools in the Kashmir Valley reopened today and the children were seen going to school laughing.

The government spokesman said that the secondary and upper secondary schools will be started after a few days. The central government is currently watching over the situation. Adequate care will be taken to ensure that no child is disturbed.

The government spokesperson also claimed that life was on the decline. However, strict security still remains in place.
