PM speaks to British PM, discusses issue of attack on Indian embassy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the phone with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday. The issue of the attack on the Indian Embassy was discussed between the two.

The details of the incident are that on August 15, the people who were celebrating Indian Independence Day were attacked outside the Indian Embassy. People who considered themselves Khalistanists and pro-Pakistan were spreading anti-people violence in celebration of India's Independence Day.

Expressing regret over the incident, Boris Johnson assured Modi that his government would take full responsibility for the full security of the Indian embassy and its staff.
