On Wednesday night, Delhi police officers stood at the gate of their house at Jor Bagh in East Chidambaram, P Chidambaram, as a guard. A security guard's fort was built around Chidambaram's house.

But two CBI team officials carefully jumped the wall and went inside. The CBI officer investigating the INX media case rushed to the wall of Chidambaram's house from R Parthsar, where he was taken to the CBI headquarters about half an hour later.

Approximately two years ago, the CBI filed an FIR in the case, in which it came out of an alliance with former UPA government ministers P Chidambaram and Karti Chidambaram. Parthasarathy then proceeded to investigate this.

Similarly, he had Karti Chidambaram on the premises of Patiala House in New Delhi in April 2018, a year ago. The CBI court then took Karti Chidambara into the CBI's custody and took her to a legal inquiry.

CBI Deputy Superintendent of Police Parthasarathi has issued a continuous investigation against the father and son. The CBI has alleged that INX Media found irregularities in the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) in 2007 for obtaining foreign funds of Rs 305 crore. At that time, P. Chidambaram was the Minister of Finance in the UPA Government.

A former CBI officer working alongside Parthasarathi, he is considered a calm and honest officer who wants to legally issue a decision on the INX Media case.
