Mobile phone and Internet service started in five districts of Jammu

Internet and mobile phone services were shut down while canceling the 370th clause giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir. According to information provided on Thursday morning, mobile phone service was being resumed in five districts of Jammu. The Internet service was also reactivated.

According to a government spokesperson, the internet and mobile service was resumed today in Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri and Poonch districts. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Ladakh region today. Left leader Sitaram Yechury is also going to Srinagar. He wanted leave in the Supreme Court saying that I wanted to meet my friend. The government has stopped me from leaving. The Supreme Court allowed him to go to Srinagar on condition that he would not engage in any kind of political activity. Just goes to meet a friend. The apex court had also vowed to do nothing like a rally or a rally.

This is the first time that an important designee such as the Union Minister of Defense has visited this area since Ladakh became a Union Territory.
