New delhi date. 20. Tuesday, August 2019

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has made a public statement after a long time.

On the 75th birth anniversary of the late PM Rajiv Gandhi, Manmohan Singh said that intolerance, polarization and violence on the basis of religion is increasing in the country. Some organizations are spreading hatred and people are taking law in their own hands. You have to cooperate to catch the haters.

He said that secularism is the basis of our nationalism. No religion teaches hatred. External and internal elements are spreading communal fanatics and violence in their own selfish interests.

He said that the events of mob lynching are hurting our society. We have to follow the path of Rajiv Gandhi. He was in favor of promoting peace and communal harmony.
