India remains in a strong position for Pujara in the practice match against the West Indies

West Indies tour team India West Indies Cricket Board XI is playing a three-day practice match. In which India's leading batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has scored a century on the first day.

Pujara's innings helped India score 297 for five at the end of the first day. Pujara had declared the innings after 100 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 68 and Rahul scored 36 and Pant scored 33. At the end of the first day's play, Jadeja was not out for one run and Hanuma Vihari 37 not out.

India opener Mayank Agarwal was out for 11. Ajinkya Rahane also lost three wickets for 53 runs, by lunch at one run.
