Fear of major attacks in Kashmir: Amarnath pilgrims ordered to return


Terrorist attacks on sarpanchs in Jammu and Kashmir are also likely

During the search operation along the Amarnath Yatra, security forces found Pakistani sniper guns, ammunition and ammunition, and the intelligence agency also expressed fears of a major terrorist attack in the Kashmir Valley. The state government has immediately stopped the Amarnath Yatra from issuing a notification.

Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army joint press conference said that in the past three to four days, there has been fear of major terrorist attacks in the valley. After the terrorist attack inputs, security forces increased search operations for security reasons.

Jammu and Kashmir police chief said that a Pakistani M-24 sniper gun was found on the Amarnath Yatra route during a search operation. Which shows the possibility that a large number of Pakistani terrorists have been infiltrated.

Army Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon said Pakistan was violating the peace of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists from Pakistan are in the throes of entering India. CRPF IG said that the Amarnath Yatra was unprecedented this year. Despite the terror of such a terrorist attack, the journey remained peaceful. Indian security forces have left no stone unturned in protecting the pilgrims.

During the press conference, Army and police also displayed the weapons of Pakistani terrorists found on the way to Amarnath Yatra.

Immediately after fear of a major terrorist attack, the Jammu and Kashmir government issued a notification announcing that Amarnath Yatra was stopped soon enough and ordered all the pilgrims to leave Jammu and Kashmir and return. The Amarnath Yatra was to continue till August 15th.

Meanwhile, on the 15th of August, all the Sarpanchs of Jammu and Kashmir will be celebrating the Independence Day by turning the tricolor in their respective villages. The announcement triggered a conspiracy by Pakistani terrorists to target the sarpanch. It has been reported that 10 terrorist groups have decided to target all sarpanchs and panchayat heads. Following this, the government has provided security to the sarpanchs and the presidents of district-taluka panchayats.

Jammu and Kashmir Police will get modern guns and vehicles

Jammu and Kashmir police official said that the state police will get 25 guns firing with chilli powder and a remote-controlled vehicle. The process has been started to buy two ROVs and 25 PBSG guns. Police will find it easier to keep the stone-makers away from the guns that release the shot of chilli powder.

Not All Items of Internal Security Can Be Revealed: Ministry of the Interior

On the issue of army deployment in Jammu and Kashmir, it said that not everything related to internal security could be disclosed. Last week, the Terah-Tareh question was raised by the Home Ministry raising 10,000 troops in Jammu and Kashmir. After that, Amarnath Yatra had to be stopped in the wake of the horror of a major terror attack in Kashmir. After that, sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs said, "There is a sensitive situation in Jammu and Kashmir. During this time, no matter how many measures pertaining to internal security can be taken, the information of everyone cannot be made public." Doing so puts the country's security at risk.
