Police arrested Akshay, son of Rupa Ganguly, the actress and BJP MP who made a memorable role in Draupadi in the world famous TV serial Mahabharata. Akash made an accident while driving a drunk car.
The Indian Penal Code was arrested under the aegis of 279 and 427. He collided with a boundary wall at the Royal Kolkata Golf Club on Thursday night. Then the wall fell on top of the car. The sky was also slightly injured.
After some time, Jadavpur police came to inspect the accident and after taking a breath test in the sky, it was discovered that he had consumed alcohol. Police are investigating how much the car's speed was when the accident occurred.
Rupa Ganguly sought help by tweeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
