Central government changes rules for retirement, paramilitary personnel will retire at age 60

New delhi date. August 20, 2019, Tuesday

Retirement age is being reduced to 60 years in all paramilitary forces in the country. The decision was taken following the Delhi High Court's order to the central government in January this year.

All paramilitary forces in the country, including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Indo Tibetan Border Police, (ITBP), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Border Security Force (BSF).

The High Court had instructed the Center to make arrangements so that this rule applies to all rank members. So now the Home Ministry has set a retirement age for employees of all ranks of all paramilitary forces which is 60 years old.
