Health experts and scientists warn that cancer cases in the country are likely to double in the next two decades.

Researchers from Kolkata-based Tata Medical Center and King's College in London raised the warning. Cancer is a disease that is hundreds of years old, as reported in the latest issue of the Journal of Oncology, which is regarded as a reliable source of cancer. It is also mentioned in Indian Ayurveda, and it is clearly mentioned in the manuscript.

According to the Tata Medical Center in Kolkata, cancer prevalence is likely to increase in eight states of the most populous country. The current cases of cancer will double in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Rajasthan. These researchers also expressed the opinion that the provision of adequate and excellent levels of cancer treatment in the country is very low.
