PM Modi has visited Bahrain along with the UAE. After the PM Modi's visit, the Bahraini government has announced that it will grant amnesty to 250 Indians who are in prison.
The Prime Minister's Office tweeted the information. The Bahraini government has apologized to 250 Indians for their kindness and humanity. Those who were serving their sentences in jail there are thankful to PM Modi.
Another tweet said that PM Modi especially thanked the Shah and the entire royal family in Bahrain for this humanitarian decision.
PM Modi visited Bahrain on Saturday, where he met with the Bahraini Shah and ruler Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa. PM Modi honored Bahrain with The King Hamad Order of Renaissance.
PM Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Bahrain. There have been MoUs on issues of culture, space, solar energy between the two countries.
In a kind and humanitarian gesture, the Government of Bahrain has pardoned 250 Indians serving sentences in Bahrain.
