A vast reservoir of gold and platinum was seen in the space

Astronomers observing the universe periodically find information that may surprise people.

As it is now known, there is a wealth of gold and platinum in abundance in space. The Royal Astronomical Society of Britain has published this analysis report in its monthly bulletin. According to which, after two years of observation of the collision between two neutron stars, scientists have found that the collision has caused huge amounts of gold and platinum.

Big stars are turning into neutron stars when they break or explode. Kilonovan is created when a neutron star merges into a black hole. There was a collision between two neutron stars in 2016 and a similar event was observed again in 2017. In which large quantities of gold and platinum were produced.

Scientists think that gold and platinum are the result of such collisions. The gold reservoir seen in space is in the Galaxy NCG 4994. Which is 130 to 140 light years away from Earth. The collision between the neutron star that created the gold and the platinum collision may have occurred 13 to 14 million years ago. Which has been noticed by scientists only a few years ago.
