Constable guilty of buying Indian pornography channel on duty in Britain

London, Ta. July 21, 2019, Sunday

An Indian-origin Scotland Yard police constable confessed to having purchased a projection channel by illegally using a number of members of a public cable TV while on duty in 2018. The 44-year-old constable Avi Maharaj will be sentenced on August 6 after admitting cheating in Westminster Magistrates Court. An investigation by the Independent Office for Public Conduct denied the purchase charge.

The Maharajah based in Wandsworth suburbsfield, London, bought a pornography channel using a landlord's account while a child was on duty in February 2018. Maharaj was waiting for an undercover agent while the landlord was leaving. The case was handed over to the Office of Public Conduct in September, after someone complained.

'We found evidence that when buying a pornography channel, there was only one Maharaj who had to pay £ 25.96. We also found that he even manipulated the attendance roll to hide his crime, ”said Officer Sal Naseem. The Maharaja's hiccup was extremely shocking and especially because in the absence of the landlord, the house was deployed to protect it.

The Maharaja's hostility was so blasphemous that he had done such a shameless act in the house where someone had died suddenly in the house, ”Naseem said. The investigation also revealed that Maharaj was alone in the house when he purchased a pornography channel and misused the other's account.
