In December 2012, the woman's family filed a complaint and the man's family agreed to the marriage. The woman withdrew the complaint in January 2013. Two weeks later, the man recounted that he was mentally unwilling to marry Rick on March 24.

He also said that the financial condition of the house was not good. The woman then filed a complaint of rape and cheating against the man.
