Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recalled an incident. He said his father-in-law's house was coming up in the middle of the road at the time when they were newly married. At Ramtek, he drove a bulldozer over his father-in-law's house without telling his wife and the road was paved.

Statement on Toll Tax Issue

On the issue of toll tax, Nitin Gadkari said, "If you want a good service, you have to pay for it." Marriage can take place in the open, but it costs money.

"Our ministry has a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore but we are building roads worth Rs 15 lakh crore," Gadkari said. If we take money from investors, we have to give it back. 2-3 smart cities can be built around Gurugram on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The roads of any country need to be good.

Furthermore, I am also a farmer. The fact that the government is now giving more money to farmers for land is a good thing for farmers. We work to get rid of traffic jams, pollution. My dream is that we can also run a truck with electricity.
