Former BJP president shot dead in Uttar Pradesh

Former district president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sanjay Khokhar has been shot dead by thugs in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Sanjay Khokhar was reportedly killed by three unidentified thugs. Sanjay Khokhar was shot by thugs when he went for a morning walk on his farm side.

The early morning murder in the Chhaprauli Thana area of ​​Baghpat has shocked everyone. Sanjay Khokhar had left home alone on Tuesday morning to shoot bricks and was targeted by the attackers at that time. Police rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Locals and people associated with the BJP expressed displeasure over the incident, the police administration and the law.

Investigation order given by Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the death of former BJP district president Sanjay Khokhar of Baghpat. Besides, Sanjay expressed his condolences to the bereaved family of Khokhar. The Chief Minister has directed to investigate the matter and take action against the culprits within 24 hours and assured that the main culprit in the case would also be found.

Similar shootings have taken place in Baghpat in the past. The BJP leader's son was shot dead in June.
