Today is the Dalai Lama's birthday, China's embarrassment may increase

New delhi date. 6 July 2020, Monday

Tensions are currently high between India and China at the LAC in eastern Ladakh. After months of tensions, India has now laid siege to all fronts in China. China, which is constantly receiving new shocks from India, is facing a new concern on Monday. Today is the 85th birthday of the Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama's birthday will be celebrated all over the world, including in India, so that China will be very anxious.

China has always opposed the Dalai Lama after forcibly occupying Tibet. China is once again worried that the Dalai Lama will not preach Tibet and its independence on his birthday. It is noteworthy that in Tibet, there is always a demand for independence from China and China always suppresses it under its own cruel attitude.

This time a special online screening is planned on the Dalai Lama's birthday. The Dalai Lama has organized a special online screening with American physicist David Bohma. The Dalai Lama also considers Bohma to be his science guru. About a week ago, the Dalai Lama announced a special screening for his birthday via Twitter.

Even today, China will need a new move to oppose the Dalai Lama. Although the Dalai Lama is known around the world as a peace envoy and a cleric who preaches the message of humanity, China has in the past branded him a terrorist and accused him of trying to destroy Tibetan Buddhism.

Last year, on the Dalai Lama's birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him and wished him a happy birthday. At that time, Home Minister Amit Shah could not call in 2019 but his wife and son sent their best wishes on that special occasion.

After the Chinese occupation of Tibet, India granted asylum to the Dalai Lama in April 1959, when he was 23 years old. The Dalai Lama escaped from China and crossed the Twang in Arunachal Pradesh to India.
