Google to invest Rs 75,000 crore in India, CEO Sundar Pichai has announced

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held talks with Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google of Indian origin. Following the conversation, Sundar Pichai announced an investment of Rs 75,000 crore in India.

Pichai said. Today, I am thrilled to announce 'Google for India Digitization Fund'. Under this initiative, we will invest ભારતમાં 10 billion, or Rs 75,000 crore, in India over the next five to seven years.

"Our investment will focus on four key areas of India's digitalisation," he said. In it we will make affordable access and information available to every Indian in his language. This includes building new products and services as per India's needs, empowering entrepreneurs for digital transformation and leveraging artificial intelligence and technology for social good in areas such as health, education and agriculture.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi tweeted that he had a conversation with Sundar Pichai. We talked on many topics. In particular, he talked about changing the lives of Indian farmers, youth and entrepreneurs through technology.

The Prime Minister further said that Sundar Pichai and I talked about the new work culture emerging in Corona's time. We also discussed the challenges that the global epidemic has brought to the field of sports. We also talked about the importance of data security and cyber security.
